Book Launch for Good News for Bruised Reeds - Walking With Same-Sex Attracted Friends

We worked together with Graceworks to launch this new book. As Bishop Emeritus Robert Solomon puts it in his foreword, "This book seeks to both encourage those who are serious about following Christ but who are struggling with same-sex attraction, and to challenge the church to lend a listening ear and a helping and welcoming hand. The stories in this book are told with pathos, honesty, and courage."

The book launch event saw a full house at Aliwal Arts Centre. We staged dramatic monologues based on the true stories and interviews of Christians with same-sex attraction (SSA). Heart-breaking stories within and beyond the book were read. There were reflections by guests, song performances, and a time for prayer and personal reflection.
